Diana Butler Bass, Ph.D., is an award-winning author of nine books on faith and spirituality in America, including her most recent, Grounded: Finding God in the World—A Spiritual Revolution that received both the Nautilus Award and the Book of the Year from the Religion News Association.
She holds a doctorate in history of Christianity from Duke University, has been a college professor, wrote a weekly column for the New York Times syndicate, and is a popular conference speaker. She currently writes on religion for the Washington Post and The Huffington Post and is the founder – along with CNN’s David Gregory – of Divinum, a spiritual “think tank” in Washington, DC. Her next book, Deeply Grateful, releases March 2018 from HarperOne.
She and her family live in Alexandria, Virginia.
